Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of sshot, the website at sshot.co and the sshot Mac app. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use sshot.

Your account

• You need to be at least 16 years old to use sshot.
• Keep your password safe. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
• One person per account. Your username must not impersonate someone else.

Your content

• Your screenshots stay yours. We don’t claim ownership of anything you upload.
• You give us permission to store, process and show your content only so sshot can work for you, for example to make thumbnails or to search the text inside.
• Only upload things you have the right to keep. Don’t use sshot for illegal content, malware, or to harass anyone.
• When you make a collection public, anyone with its link can view it. You can make it private again at any time.

The service

• sshot is provided as is. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will never be unavailable or lose data. Keep your own copies of anything important.
• We may change or stop features. If we ever shut sshot down, we’ll tell you in advance so you can download your screenshots.
• We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
• You can stop using sshot at any time and delete your account from Edit profile.

Changes

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we’ll let you know before the changes take effect.
